The steps to entering the results of a race meet are:

1. Make an alphabetical list of all dogs entered in the meet.
Due to the time it takes to "repaint" the screen where you choose the dogs in the meet, this list will save you a great amount of time.

2. Enter all new owners in the Owner area.
|
|
3. Enter all FTE dogs in the Dog area.
|
|
4. Update Club info if necessary. Click on Club Initials.
|
|
5. Update Meet info if necessary. Click on Meet Date.
|
|
6. Choose the dogs in the race meet. Click on Enter Results.
|
|
7. Set up race by race results.
|
|
a. Check the correctness of the Heat and Race number at the top of the page are correct. Change if necesssary.
|
|
1). Set whether the race type is Puppy, Adult, Senior or Legend.
|
|
2). If the it's a puppy, senior or legends race then choose Non-High Point in the first Heat. For all subsequent Heats be sure to set whether the Puppy Race is a Hi Point or Non-Hi Point.

|
3). For the first Adult Heat only. You must Choose the Grade for each race.
|
|
4). For the heats 2, 3 & 4. You must set which race is the High Point race. The default is Non-Hi Point
|
|
b. Start with Race one Heat one.
|
|
c. Click on the First dog in the first race and first heat.
|
|
d. Click on it's placement.
|
|
e. Continue with all dogs in that race.
|
|
f. Mark all scratches, paddock scratches,OC's, DQ's.
|
|
1). Scratches are marked in the last Heat in which the dog ran. I.e. Scratches between Heat 1 and 2 are marked in the check box after the dogs placement in Heat 1.

2). Paddock Scrathes, DQ's, OC's and DNF's as a placement in the race in which they occured.
|
|
g. Click the Enter button and enter the next Race.
|
|
h. Repeat till all dogs in the Heat have been placed in races in their placement within the race.
|
|
i. Repeat for all Heats till all 4 heats have been done.
|
|
j. Click Enter Button.
|
|
8. Review the Race results to check for errors.
|
|
9. Correct mistakes and recheck results.
|
|
10. Notify Registrar/Recorder results are entered for verification.
|
|
11. When results are verified they will be sent to the discussion lists automatically.
